Tire companies seek dismissal of 6PPD lawsuit

Tire Business reports that thirteen of the largest tire manufacturers have filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed in 2023 by two fishery groups demanding an immediate halt to the use of 6PPD in tires. The motion was filed on March 8 and will be heard on May 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
