Nikkei.com has an update on some Japanese factories affected by the quake.

Production facilities damaged by last month’s disaster that struck northeastern Japan have begun to come back online, with Nippon Paper Group Inc. and Nippon Kasei Chemical Co. among those announcing Monday plans to resume operations.
Nippon Kasei says that it will restart production of a sealant additive used for solar cells at its Iwaki plant this week. The company supplies 90% of global demand for this material.

Nippon Kasei Chemical also operates a carbon black plant at Iwaki, but the plant was not specifically mentioned in the article.
