Orion signs TPO supply agreement with Contec

Orion S.A. recently announced a long-term supply agreement with Poland-based Contec S.A. under which Contec will supply tire pyrolysis oil to Orion to produce circular carbon black for tire and rubber goods customers. Contec is one of the longest running tire pyrolysis companies in Europe through its tire pyrolysis plant in Szczecin, Poland. The plant is currently being expanded. Orion uses the TPO as feedstock for its circular carbon black, which is produced at Orion's carbon black plant in Jasło, Poland. The companies did not disclose the volumes involved in the agreement.
