On April 20, Sumitomo Rubber North America Inc. will idle production at its tire plant in Tonawanda, New York in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, according to Rubber News (subscription required). SRNA plans to resume work on May 4, but will evaluate if a third week of closure is necessary.
