HUBER ENGINEERED MATERIALS ANNOUNCES GLOBAL PRICE INCREASE FOR PRECIPITATED SILICAS AND SILICATES

ATLANTA, Sept. 9, 2010 – Huber Engineered Materials, a division of the J.M. Huber Corporation, today announced a global price increase for its precipitated silicas and silicates. The increase is effective beginning Oct. 15, 2010, or as current contracts allow. Prices will increase up to eight percent.

The increase has become necessary due to increasing costs in labor, manufacturing, regulatory and supply chain.
