Southeast Asia’s largest tire manufacturer, PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk, to increase tire production

The Indonesian business paper Kontan reports that the largest tire manufacturer in Southeast Asia, PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk, will increase capital spending this year by $20-25 million USD to complete a series of expansion projects. Radial tire production capacity will increase from 40,000 to 45,000 units/day by late 2011. Motorcycle tire production will be increased from 75,000 to 105,000 units/day by early 2012.
