According to Rubber & Plastics News (subscription required), the Rubber Chemicals business unit of Lanxess AG will increase its prices effective July 1, 2008. The company will increase prices by $1,200 per ton, and the increase will affect antioxidants, accelerators and specialty products. Lanxess attributed the action to the increased cost of raw materials.
