Fire at Texas Carbon Black Plant

A fire erupted at Sid Richardson’s carbon black plant in Borger, Texas on Thursday, February 26, when part of a furnace fell from a wall. The fire caused minimal damage, and the company reports the plant is operating normally. There were no injuries.
